Pennsylvania Woods

The snow which we’ve recently had has given me the opportunity to paint.  I was, of course, in a snowy sort of mood, so I painted the following scene based on my memory of a lovely little hollow I used to ride by all the time, but now see less of.

I have other pieces I’ve painted in the past months, but I feel as I though I was too tight and uncomfortable painting them.  They will make an appearance, but be prepared to notice overworked surfaces and bad color-mixing.
